Necessity drives invention, and far be it from me to rob you of your necessity!

When I first thought about starting a blog, I imagined sharing about creating maps, planning ahead (using maps), and—unrelated to maps—learning about life with dogs. But a few months ago, I rolled over in bed, opened my eyes, and got an idea for a kitchen/dining gadget that would be helpful for our household. Strange. So I picked up my phone and did a few searches for that product; if it was already out there I’d go ahead and buy it. But I didn’t see anything quite like what I was picturing.
So here I am, having drawn out an image of what I think the product could look like and starting to reach out to folks to ask, “I have an idea for a weird little kitchen gadget that I don’t think exists. What happens now?” Have any of you tried to create and market a new product? Where did you start? I’m all ears. Comment below or send me a message through https://mappingoutlife.com/contact/.
Stay tuned for any updates on this venture!
